Hello, and welcome to the first ever otome game translation group!
Otome Eternal is a fan community dedicated to bringing the best quality English translations of female-targeted Japanese dating sims, otherwise known as GxB (Girl x Boy) renai games, to the wider public. For those unfamiliar with otome games, generally they take the form of a visual novel - one in which the player reads dialogue, collects CGs, then according to her choices at certain story junctures, proceeds down a different ending path. Think of it as an advanced choose-your-own-adventure novel. The goal of these games, of course, is to ultimately get you, the heroine, to win the heart of one of the many characters in the story, and (one hopes!) live out your happily ever after ^_^. They are great fun if you love anime artwork or enjoy a good romance, so definitely give them a try!
Due to the text-heavy nature of these games, however, as well as their rarity outside of Asia, it is often difficult for people unfamiliar with Japanese language to enjoy the story. That's where we come in. Otome Eternal is a "by fans, for fans" group which aims to create translation patches for our favorite otome games, so that people like you can play freely through without the dread of having to look up yet another kanji. Take that, Babelfish!
