The subject line should contain one of the following section titles. Note that we will NOT be answering e-mails regarding where to download games, when a translation will be released, or troubleshooting issues that do not pertain to a patch-specific bug.
Translators
We are always seeking more Japanese-English translators to help us work on game scripts. Please let us know your availability (how many hours/week you can translate), previous experience (whether it be classes taken, other translation projects, etc), and any other information that might reflect on your abilities. Translators are generally assigned one or more scenario scripts, each structured like a theater play of ~20-30 pages in length, from a particular game to translate. They are expected to keep biweekly updates of their progress.
Programmers
Do you have experience decompiling game engines? Know how to extract and modify scripts? Then, we'd love to have you on our staff! The programmer's job is to figure out a way to decrypt the game data, so that the translators can do their job, and then insert the changes back into the game. The success of any project depends first and foremost on his/her abilities.
Bug Reports
If you run into any translation gaps, runtime errors, or other problems specific to our patch that
do not occur in the original game (i.e., the Japanese installation), please let us know in as much detail as possible. Attach a screencap of the scenario in which the issue arises, and describe exactly when/where it happens.
